Boston, MA

Cruiseport Boston, operating at the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal in the Seaport District, has grown from 13 ships and 11,723 passengers in 1985 to 73 ship calls and 129,028 cruise passengers in 1999.

Embarkations include weekly cruises to Bermuda, fall foliage itineraries to New England and Canadian ports, and repositioning to Miami. Many cruise lines put Boston as a must Port of Call Visit on the cruising itineraries.

From the North (coming south on I93):
On the Expressway downtown, take exit marked "South Station". At the top of the exit ramp, turn left onto Summer Street. Continue on Summer Street as it merges with Congress Street. Continue on Congress to "D" Street, turn right onto "D" then left at the next light onto Summer Street (again). At the next light on Summer Street is a left turn into the Boston Marine Industrial Park. The Black Falcon Terminal is the first right turn (onto Design Center Place).

Charleston, SC

Lovingly preserved for 300 years, the Port of Charleston is a living museum. Here a ship's passengers can step back in time to the eighteenth century, before the Revolution, when Charleston was the seat of British rule and the cultural capital of the New World.

There's so much to see and do in the Charleston area -- history, architecture, arts, tours, dining, entertainment, plantations, attractions and the nation's finest Visitor Center are just a small sampling of what's available...Charleston is truly a feast for the senses.

The aspect of a Charleston port-call that passengers truly love is that everything is within easy walking distance...the Passenger Terminal is literally in the city's Historic District.

Upon disembarking, passengers are only two blocks from Charleston's famous public market, and less than that to a pickup point for the city's trolley system. The trolley picks them up and, should they desire, drops them off at the Visitor Center...the perfect spot to start a visit to the area.
